Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
While growing up I attended the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus on several occasions when it was held at Madison Square Garden. The boast of the circus was that they were "the greatest show on earth." As you have reached the web site of the Living Water Baptist Church of Owego New York, we want you to know that what God is doing in this world through Jesus Christ is "the greatest show on earth." Of all that God is doing, the most exciting thing is that He is changing lives. What a joy and what a blessing to see God take a life and transform it into the beautiful person of Jesus Christ.
We have become so excited about showing off Jesus Christ that in the last five years God has led our church to start three new churches. Crossroads Community Church meets between Earlville and Sherburne just north of Norwich, Waters Edge Community Church meets in the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church in Endicott and Emory Chapel meets in it's own building in Barton. We have seen over 100 people give their life to Jesus Christ and become a beautiful creation in Him.
Jesus is perfectly faithful and will never fail you. If you ask Him, He will come into your heart and be your Savior and friend, and give you a full and meaningful life. If in the course of life you grow weary, He is just a prayer away and cares for and wants to meet your every need. If our church can help you in any way please let us know and if we can pray for you please give us your request.

Meet our Pastor
Hello! My name is Wayne R. Sibrava. I pastor the Living Water Baptist Church in Owego, NY.
Since I came to know Jesus Christ as my savior, life has been a daily experience with God. Life has been an exciting adventure in serving God through Jesus Christ.
I grew up in a traditional church and thought I was okay with God until he started dealing with me. For awhile, it was very hard for me to comprehend that I was lost without God because the Church I grew up with led me to believe I was okay. But God kept dealing and I finally realized my need and gave my heart to Jesus in September 1974.
God called me into the gospel ministry when I was saved. I was called to my first church in 1980 and I have been pastoring Southern Baptist Churches ever since. I assumed the position of Pastor of Living Water Baptist Church in December, 1997.
Here is my family. My wife's name is Connie. We have been married for 25 years. We have three children. Jared is our oldest. Jared is a sophomore at Binghamton University in the school of Engineering. Alison is our middle child and is 18 and just graduated high school at Owego Free Academy. Jillian is our youngest and is 16. She is a sophomore in high school at Owego Free Academy.
It is such a blessing to know that all of our children love the Lord Jesus with all their heart. We work together as a team to see God's perfect will come to pass at the Living Water Baptist Church.
